Don’t forget the next Open Day for the ITS World Congress 2018!
We just wanted to remind you the Open Day for ITS Copenhagen is on the 23rd January 2018.
The Open Day will include general information on the ITS World Congress 2018 as well as details on how to become a commercial partner or exhibitor. We will also be looking at how you could engage in some of the other activities included in the Congress, such as what you could demonstrate and which debates you could engage in. Most importantly it will give you the chance to discuss how your organisation and 25th ITS World Congress, Copenhagen 2018 can work together to showcase the future of ITS.

Utsläppen från inrikestransporter ska minska med minst 70 procent till år 2030 och Sverige ska vara klimatneutralt till år 2045. En ny klimatlag börjar gälla den 1 januari 2018. Under 12 år finansierar därför Trafikverket forskningsområdet fossilfria godstransporter med upp till 40 miljoner kronor per år.
European drivers spend 10% of their driving time on secondary tasks, and 4% of hand-held mobile phone usage, such as typing or calling. There is an increase in phone usage when the vehicle is idle or driving slow. Truck drivers are distracted for even longer periods of time: the data shows they spend nearly 20% of driving time distracted, mostly on food and telephones. Nearly 3% of driving time is spent on the visual-manual use of the mobile phone, such as reading and writing text messages.
The European Parliament and Council will now be consulted on the Delegated Regulation for the right of objection with the aim of publishing in the Official Journal in the 4th Quarter of 2017.
On 31 March did the European Commission held the first follow-up meeting with experts nominated by Member States to discuss the implementation of the delegated regulation and the upcoming CEF Programme Support Action.
