There are only a few days left to submit your Technical/ Scientific / Commercial papers and Special Interest Session proposals.
Please submit your contributions no later than 11 January.

Don’t miss the opportunity to shape the discussions that will take place during the ITS European Congress 2019 from 3-6 June 2019 in the Brainport region of Eindhoven-Helmond. You can easily submit your contribution by creating an account and choosing your type of submission:

Technical / Scientific / Commercial Paper submissions

The first step is to submit your draft paper (minimum 5 pages for Technical and Commercial and minimum 9 pages for Scientific papers).
Papers will enter the review process after which authors will be informed if their papers have been accepted, conditionally accepted or rejected.
For ‘accepted’ draft papers, we will request that authors submit a final version (Maximum 10 pages for Technical and Commercial papers and maximum 12 pages for Scientific pages).
For ‘conditionally accepted’ papers, authors will need to revise their papers and address the comments of the reviewers while submitting the final version of their documents.

Special Interest Session Proposal submissions

Various session details are required including organiser contact details, topic / subtopic, title and description, name and contact details of the moderator and of minimum 3 confirmed speakers. The scope of the session is also important: tell us why your proposal is special and why it should be selected!

All contributions should be submitted under the Congress Topics

Att få tillstånd för försök med självkörande fordon är långt ifrån enkelt. Nu testar Transportstyrelsen policylabb för att hitta sätt att göra processen enklare för alla inblandade.

Don’t miss the ITS European Congress Open Day on 11 December 2018 at the Evoluon centre in Eindhoven. Organised by ERTICO and hosted by the cities of Eindhoven and Helmond, the Open Day is the perfect opportunity for current and potential exhibitors and commercial partners to find out more about the Congress, the Congress venue(s) and the topics of the next ITS Congress in Europe. Under the theme “Fulfilling ITS Promises”, the Congress will address finding intelligent transport solutions and seeing how smart mobility services are integrated into society.

The ITS European Congress programme in the Netherlands has something for everybody – with sessions on topics exploring new mobility service modes, transport efficiency, digital infrastructure and environmental impacts. At the Congress you will have the opportunity to hear from policy-makers from the European Commission and leading industry experts such as Dynniq and Here Technologies. Another exciting event at the Congress will be the ‘Your Future Festival’, where top students, young professionals and companies can connect and share inspiration, research and experience to make valuable connections for the future.

Exhibiting or entering into a commercial partnership with the Congress holds many benefits and reflects a commitment to developing new business solutions by bringing together industry professionals (public and private parties) with unique Smart Mobility expertise and the latest cutting-edge technologies. Through the exhibition and partnership packages available, together with ERTICO – ITS Europe and the Brainport region of Eindhoven-Helmond, you will have a great platform to showcase your ideas and solutions and in turn contribute to the success of the Congress.

The Open Day will include general information on the ITS European Congress 2019. We will show you around the unique Congress venue, The Evoluon, and share details on how to become a commercial partner or exhibitor. We will also be looking at how you could engage in some of the other activities at the Congress with what you wish to demonstrate and debate. Most importantly, it will give you the opportunity to discuss how your organisation and 13thITS European Congress can work together to showcase the future of Smart Mobility.

Ireland’s new National Digital Strategy aims to map out how to positively embrace digital advances for the benefit of every citizen, business, and community in Ireland. This Strategy builds on the previous National Digital Strategy – Phase 1: Digital Engagement, launched in 2013, which encouraged and assisted citizens and small businesses to get online.

During the Pilot site event, held in Livorno on 19 October, François Fischer from ERTICO answered a few questions for the web-magazine “Port News”, by the Authority of the Northern Tyrrhenian Port System: “We want action in terms of regulation and good policies that promote technical innovation. We look for help from city authorities to encourage pilot testing and upscaling to real-world scenarios. This would go a long way in raising awareness among the public and private local stakeholders about, for instance, the potential of autonomous driving and the internet of things in creating valuable mobility results. This will facilitate the participation of SMEs and industries in these domains and advance the digital transformation.”
